That's where I got mine and they're pretty cool. The only thing is the stock 2.2v motor is kinda slow. So I upgraded to a 3.0v motor and it goes pretty quick but now I'm thinking of getting the 3.8 motor. The controller is great I get up to around 30 feet in a big tiled room at my work, and it slides right into your pocket fairly easy.

i love my Z. i got mine at the HS as a parts car. they said they had a lot of returns so i asked them if they would sell me one because i liked the wheels for my red flame hotrod. they sold me one for $5 with the controller and body. i took it home charged it up and it worked!! it was kinda slow and jerky so i took the body off and ZOOM! it works great. the problem was the chassis was malformed in the back and the body was squeezing the motor into the transfer gear and binding it up. i had to do a lot of trimming on my flame body but it looks pretty cool. with the bigger rear tires in the back it looks like a muscle machine. the 3.0 with the 8 point pinion gear flys, great control.

They have great service too. I broke one of the steering knuckles doing the Zip-Zap wheel mod on my Z-car and they told me to send in the car and they will replace it with a whole new chassis.
All I wanted was a new steering knuckle and I was willing to pay for it and they are going to give me a new car!

What frequencies do they come in and are they selectable? I took a look at the Discovery website and don't see any reference to frequencies.

i have 'em. they're great! mine has good handeling but like Black Knight said it's kinda slow. mine has pretty good battery life.
BTW gtr2112, does the 3.0 motor shorten the Z-Car's battery life when on a full charge?

The run time after a charge is amazing on the stock battery... with the stock motor (2.2) and battery my car will run for well over 10 minutes on a double charge using disposible energizer batteries. The stock handling kind of sucks if your using a small track but other then that, these cars are definatly the best for sale in regular department stores in Canada.

the 3.0 is kinda unpredictable from my experience. i have 4 of them and each one is different. they do seem to shorten the run time a little, but it is a good idea to double charge. i get them with an extra set of gears and wheels at my LHS for $5.75 each. so it's worth it. the gears are great.

No Idea C.. I have double charged mine since i got it on a fresh battery. Try double charging and draining it completely a few times.. That might help??
