simple intercooler add on look-a-like

ive been trying to make an intercooler that is visible and shiny lately
if you have a pack of staples lying around.. break off a chunk, and super glue one side of it so that it stays together, because they do break apart if you dont...
cut the sides off, so that you just get the middle.....then you have to trim the sides a little till it fits perfectly in your front
then snap a staple off one by one, till it fits IN your fascia
and the last step is to glue that sucker on...its not very heavy, and its super SHINY!!!
i have one on my black skyline, and it rocks...
now im thinking of making some fake tubing etc etc..

hope anyone likes this....I DO

*woops and also i forgot to say that i used heavy duty pliers [sp?] to cut the sides of the staples off...i tried to use small wire cutters, and i hurt my hands cuz the darn handles are so small...

thanks...it adds alot to the looks..trust me
well if u are into huge intercoolers that is
like this bad boy

Sweet mod. I put it on my Yellow rx7 and it looks great. Btw, does anyone know how to get a good exhaust pipe effect?

thanks everyone..

SPEED, you might want to cut the sides a LITTLE shorter, because i got mine to fit IN the front grille...it doesnt stick all the way out....

Reckless44check the FAQ...it has a link...

i got piping and everything

i have had this mod on my bit for a really long time and it didn't look right without piping so i took some wire and made some. you can't see it clearly but if you know what an intercooler looks like you'll understand.

not tryin to steal your thunder or flame - thats a really cool ass mod that ill probably be tryin at some point with some car - but intercoolers do not suck air - they are radiators for air and air blows by them cooling the air inside (some work with water too, but we wont get into that now) - not sucking in air as you say - thats the intake air filters job - intercoolers are necessary for the high amounts of boost pressure in those cars

sorry...another shot

hey...I understand the usage of an intercooler, my dad's volvo has one. And the reason it's front mounted it to cool the air going in. yeah yeah, it's only for high boosted cars, but hell it looks damn skippy good. here's another shot. you can see the piping, damn, if you like WRX's you'll understand the sarcrafice of the fog lamps to install the larger intnercooler. ohwell, enjoy.
