A cost & material question came up on a different forum, so I thought I would post the answer here to.
Well the material list is easy, the cost is a little harder to figure.
Materials:
4'x8" mdf
060 polystyrene
1/2" angle alum.
1/4" wooden dowels
2"x2"x24" pine
1/2" wooden dowel
Latex paint - green, dk green,lt gray, med. gray, dk gray, black, white, yellow
Red spray paint
spackle
access to sign making equipment
and permanent place to put it.
Now for cost. Well I already had the paint and the polystyrene, the mdf was 12.00 for a 4'x8', the dowels were about 4.00, angled alum was 4.00 for 8'. I have my own sign making equipment so no expense there.
So I spent about $20.00
so if you started from scratch and inkjeted your sponsor signs I say you could do all for under $50.00
tip: When you buy the paint, check the oops paint, all my paint is left over from a winnie the pooh mural on my daughters wall, I got about 6 or 7 different colors for under $10.00.
