It should fit. The bus is a smiggen longer and it "mounts" on the chassie. Kind of like this.
=====
===------
=====
With the = being the forks on the body and the - the tab on the chassis.
PS: If the bus door could open its a long step down!

Oh... Hmm, could it be fitted on top of the Bus body? Eh... I'll see if I can try to figure it out when I get my Bus.
Cougy, does da Bus flip easily with the 3.8?

Any time!
It like some of the MicroQ bodies. They a smiggen longer but use an extender to reach the tabs on the chassis.

Seeing the mounts and remembering the bus in Totoro { normal not cat } I got the idea they had mounts for them on the bus but was wrong.
The detail is outstanding. Just wish they had dual... Hey if I take two ZZ thin tires could make a set of duel tires for the back!

But they have a ton of current to feed a hungry motor or should say motors like in three or four? Over an amp compared to a partly 120ma. Room to put real relays so you dont loose power going through transistors. Wow! This is getting good! { Evil laugh goes here! } May need stickum for the tires to keep it stuck on the track!
Were you thinking something like this?
