Ultimate Light Mod?
Can any of you w/ the electical engineering degrees make sense of the light set for sale HERE ?
Is it possible to "backward" engineer this light set so that we here in the states can make it ourselves?

Radio Shack should have them. If they dont have any of them, any other electronic supply store should have them.

You still need a schematic for the board...

Probably would be Cheaper and easier just to buy the Ultimate Light mod, especially since everything needed is included in the kit!

I think they are custom designed and produced boards for the ultimate light kit. Why would radio shack carry such things. I think you would need to know all the components on the board and its layout and make one yourself

Unless I get a part # I still don't believe radio shack sells those boards preassembled with all the chips solder on it. Unless radio shack was actually selling the ultimate light kit itself why would they have it, what would they have it for?

There is no way he make those boards himslef in shis basement. if he dose i'll eat my bit. Those boards have to be baught somewhere. on the installation page he refers to them as krm1 and krm3 circuit boards!

You don't make them in a garage. There are certain electrical engineering or manufacturing companies which can mass produce those boards. All you have to do is give them the skematic and stuff. I know this because I use to draft mechanical designs using autocad.
We still need to know the schematic for the board to be able to mass produce them.
