I went through the same thing, I purchased the tomy tire set, microsizer tireset, suspension pack, and gearset then spent hours trying to find the perfect combo. I would suggest getting both tire sets as well, it'll make a world of difference in handiling performance. Just try different tires, gearsets, stabilizers and motors to get the right one for your situation. Hope this helps.

The ZZ full size tire/rim mod seemed to help my handling quite a bit... You will need to use a drimmel or soldering iron to mod the chassis so the wheels dont rub.

the thing that effects handling is the tires

That suspension sway bar thing doesnt do anything in my findings.
its all in the tires, or the gear/motor combo.

Well i saw a difference with different combos bt, a definite increase in stability when I changed my stab. to hard from soft when using medium tires up front and hard in the back. Where as when i used the same tire set up and a soft stab. it would do donuts everytime i turned. To test my theory i then changed the tires to mediums all around and got the same results. The only time the soft stab. didn't make the car do donuts is when I put hard tires up front. So I believe that all components affect performance even the stabs. But since everyone uses different tuning settings, maybe you just havn't had the need to change your stab.

when i tested my stablizers, i found that the softer they got, the less the front tires slipped, but this probably only goes for real slippery surfaces. i think this is why:
when you have a hard stablizer-
you turn, and pressure is put on the outer front tire, and with the the hard stablizer, the pressure is transferred to the other (inner) tire and is not absorbed by the stablizer's springiness. (You can see how the inner front tire affects the steering radius by putting mediums all around and then taking off the inner front tire and trying to steer).
the front grip seems to get less and less as they get softer.
With the QFM springs, there is no wheel to wheel pressure exchange, it is completely independent. so the car should probably handle in wide, smooth radiuses, good control i bet. dunno though, cuz i have not done that spring mod.
yeah..i think all the parts, no matter what they are, change the performance and handling a little bit. Mixing it up lots of different ways is the best way to find what is best for the surface being used.

handling
From my experience, the faster the motor, the stiffer the front suspension should be. If the suspension is too soft you will flip the car, or do donuts.
Then you have the tires to consider. The "grippy" tires on the front will make it turn in quicker. If your rear tires are not as "grippy" they will spin and produce donuts.
Try putting "grippier" tires on the rear than you have in the front. This will produce understear. Which means the front will not turn in as quick. Your turn radius will be greater, but the car may be more controllable.
Or Clean the dust off of the surface you a running on and the dust off of the tires. Both will produce an uncontrollable car.

Go check out QFM find the "fullsize front wheels" mod and follow those directions, just substitute the bit wheels for the ZZ's.
