Good point!!!
Which is why the people who have an interest and motivation to provide racing venues, should have an opportunity to participate in the business.... duh!

we are getting some Dnano racers in now
the only problem is the circuit. We have the lap counter, but it's useless because we are not HT. I guess the software has to log everyone in to the universe before it works. I may have to talk the shop owner into going in on a different system for now.
Seems like kyosho is acting like in survival mode like all major corporations right now due to the economy. Everything is slow and taken one thing at a time. feels like only one employee works at kyosho america, they are slowly pulling out. I've been waiting 3 months for my aqua speed motor that is on back order and I know that if you travel to japan and walk into one of their stores there would be plenty of them sitting on a shelf.

Well, I am into mini z's, and I hope to get into dNaNo's because 1. There is an HT 20 minutes from my house, and 2. I don't have the time to do full blown racing, so I hope I can just roll up to the HT and run some laps on their system. I'm guessing it won't be too busy but I hope 4-5 people can race a few times a month.

Personally, I am frustrated with my local HT. They have sold enough dnano cars to start a race schedule but they prefer to use the track as a work table. I have purchased three cars from them and not the first one has been registered. They haven't bothered to learn how to use any of the equipment they have received from Kyosho. They tell me they are waiting for interest to build but the real answer is they are not interested. I have gone to that shop over a hundred times and I can count the amount of times some one asked if they could help me on one hand. That was usually the girl at the register. In short, you are right, it is the people and the people at my HT just don't care.

wow... that really sucks bro. i'm sorry 2 hear that... i wish we could get 50 more guys like you into the shop. the problem is those who really appreciate dnano are so few and far between. don't give up, i hope things will get better there... or you could always just vacation to Pattaya, Thailand and hang out with us for a few weeks every year

I have to agree that the success on the dnano has a lot to do with the htu that organizes the races I go to the htu in Fairfield Connecticut and thanks to mark and rich in a few short weeks we are running twice a week and getting a pretty decent turnout at least 8 cars running every week cant beat that for a start

That is an awesome start!! The only effort that was put forth here so far was a race on Valentines Day. As much as I wanted to attend it I just couldn't do it. Happily married and trying to stay that way. We'll get there though just wish we were there now.

No pain - no gain, lol. Its good to see that a few of the htu tracks are going strong. We just cannot get any action here, lots of lookers but then thay see the price and keep walking. Which is too bad because the upfront cost is steep but the continuing costs are nothing.
