My First Run

Just had my first track time with my first Dnano on my new RCP Mini-96. It's the Autech Z and I'm going to open my Lambo Murcielago tomorrow. It's a blast, and it's also official I'm a crappy driver.

I've got lots to learn I'm sure, but are there any must to do's to the cars? I haven't been able to go through all the posts yet. I have bearings, but haven't had the time to install them yet. I also picked up a diff, but probably won't install it until I get better at driving to know the difference.

Also, I'm going to eventually get another controller so I can race with friends. Might even pick up an MR03. Is there a performance advantage going to another KOPROPO controller besides the Perfex. I also want to be able to use the controller for other future projects as I'm also now hooked on rock crawling with my Micro Crawler.

I've asked for insight on crawling forums to try and find the best and cost effective solution, but have received little feedback. I know there are adaptors for the 3PK and M11's, but not sure if I need anything that high tech just yet.

Thoughts?

just get used to your car and improve your skills first... once you 'know' your car, you'll be able to appreciate those steps you take to improve its handling. good luck and congrats on joining a wonderful 'tiny' hobby

Thanks. I know I have to get better first to truly learn I do want to get a second controller to run with friends and would rather pay a little more now than buy another KT18.

I'm sure it won't be long before I buy some parts from your shop
