Yes, see page 25 of the manual - push and hold throttle trim down and switch power ON. Continue to hold throttle trim down and confirm the LED lights up after 3 seconds. Release throttle trim.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Think that all started because the batteries were somewhat low... i just reset the transmitter and everything went well.

kyosho decided to use a proprietary 2.4ghz system vs. going with the industry standard used in larger scales. this was a hotly debated issue with the release of the initial line of 2.4 asf mini-z's as many already had 2.4ghz transmitters only to learn they would not work.
if you get a 2.4 module for the ex-10 for example, make sure you get the kyosho 2.4 asf type. the 'for mini-z 2.4ghz' module is the right kind.

It is correct that my batteries where quite low, but I've replaced them. But it doesn't even reset. So I guess I have to get them back to the store and wait for a replacement.
