ever think it might be a future release? or maybe a beta? some sort of "maybe we will make and sell or maybe we wont"
or extremely rare limited edition body like the pure gold bodies? or the x-box wrx? or how bout the disney resort cruiser......those three were never featured but were true tomys

i'm sorry to say this but i don't think Tomy would release a limited edition body set and leave it clear...
The Skyline Nur wasn't clear. the "gold limited edition bodies" were not clear. and once again. Tomy does not make bodies out of green plastic. BTW i'm pretty sure the gold limited edition bodies were BS. have you ever seen a picture of them in a package? i think not
The disney bus is not limited edition( you can buy it on the Disney Cruise in Japan)

just ran across somethin...the gold bodies were meant as promotional items and were never put in a box
as from bit char-g UK--- "Believe it or not, there are in fact some rare official TOMY Bit Char-G accessories. These items were produced purely as promotional items and were never originally meant for actual sale in the shops."

This thread started all nice and happy with the clear green '86 till 323it came in and burst our bubbles  .
So what if its clear green, who wouldn't want a new '86?
Someone has gotta start duplicating the rare bodies by making molds and sell em' even though it would be illegal  .

its sad that its so hard to find the 86 tune up box these days, ebay used to have tons for cheap but hteir all gone now...

Maybe this was a shot of the bodies before they went through Tomy's painting booth's! This is a Tomy body becuase the hood is removable!! If it wasn't Tomy, and maybe Lxx, then it would most likely be one piece! DOESN'T THIS MAKE ANY SENSE? And I have the AE86 Tune-Up Boxset too, and the little lines you see on the hood, they are on mine!! It is from the manufacturing! If it was another company, I don't think the'd go that far to make it look the same!!!!
