If it ain't working now, and the manual said that, I'd start praying. I've never owned one, so someone may have done it and found an answer. I hope so. If nothing else, try an email to the manufacturer or distributor you bought from.

I would think the controller is fine.

There are people around who know the answer you need. You may just need a new rom chip. Or maybe someone that can reprogram your rom for you. Keep posting and keep looking for answers. Its out there. If you know German, check and search out some of their forums they got tons of good info.
Good luck and keep us posted.

dead digi-q

Have you tried starting over? Turn everything off, make sure the Rom chip is plugged in, charge your tank and follow the instructions.

Just because you might have toasted the ROM chip doesn't mean you did.

If you try it by the book and it still doesn't work, then I'd be concerned. If you've got a dead ROM chip, those can be reprogrammed. The tank and your controller should be fine. I only know of one person in the US who does this and he is difficult to get ahold of. What type of tank is it?

if you dont understand german there are ALOT of sites that translates pages try babblefish.altavista.com (my friend told me this one) i dont know if its.com or .net or if i spelt babble right lol but an easier one would be google language tools but if you can get a hold of the babblefish site it works like a charm
