Valuable mod?

Just had an idea for a little mod that may be helpful for people that track race and drag race. Would it be beneficial to add an adjutable variable transistor (preferibly a knob based one) at the part of the esc where it would work (not sure - unfamiliar with the components). With this variable transitor you could dial in for high output / low run time - drag race or you could go the other end and have less power with longer run times - track racing/endurance racing. Just an idea, please don't bash.

sounds like a valid idea to me, but for certain peaple only. i dont have an xmod but ins't there already or a way to have ur car have a low setting

yea it has a high and low setting but thats it ur either slow or fast. Atleast this way you dont have to run at max speed or dog slow. Just an idea.......maybe not the best
