well if diets don't mind me usin his pic, when you cut out the bottom don't cut everything off just leave the metal contacts there. then just hold the zzmt still when charging so that the contacts don't come off.
Here's his bottom pic

Wow, that makes sense.
But wouldn't leaving the extra charging terminals limit the articulation?

from what i can tell not oo much really. because it allows the tires to spin about the axle and doesn't bend inward. it just leaves more stuff in the way as far as clearance goes and could get snagged on stuff. Still waitin to do the mod myself.

Actually, come to think of it, it wouldn't. Because the chassis-chopped part could still articulate. It's kind of like the Xmods Trucks.

Get cords with little alligator clips or something similar. Just clip them up and go, that's what I do with all my multi-cell vehicles.

Interesting. But where do you clip them?

Wherever you want. I usually leave little solder tabs with stirp solder to clip onto with my batteries. Than it's just a matter of making sure you clip - to - and + to + Just leave places where you want, clip onto the wires if needed (just make sure they don't short anything).
