Lightbulb 6 cell maybe 8??????

Ok, I know that there is a way to up the anty on me little rubaru its got just about all the R.S mods there are, (even used 2 sets of muscle car big rear tire on all 4 legs, make for little more top end but I want to put a 6 or maybe even 8 AAA @700-800mHa on it, I was wandering there seems to be 2 ways that this can be done in serise= 9-12V or dubbled up to up the amps, any one know a way to do it, E-Mail me or post, ItsmikeJoh@aol.com

It is not possible because it exceeds the XMODS max voltage of 8.4 volts. You will fry the EP.

Li-ions is the best battery upgrade you can do. 2 AAs will give you 7.2v although at full charge they are at 8.4v. Also they are about 10 grams lighter than 4 AAAs. You'll love the increased performance with your stock electronics!!!

FYI the new EVO series FETs can handle up to 8.4V

AND, before i ran my 2cell li-poly from one28thrc, i was running a 6 AAA cell rechargable setup which totals to 7.2V perfectly fine for weeks.

kabootle is right with the 8.4V max. You can search for it in the xmodworld forums also.
