My monster wont work.Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

My monster wont work. i changed the batteries in the remote i put a different battery cell in the truck and it dosnt work. it moves forward fine and backwards but when i turn the thing stopps working. it wont go forword or backwords anymore.

Did you solder the wire to the battery in the correct direction?
Moreover what type of battery did you use? Was your power switch off when you traded 'em out? Details, the answer is in the details.

I hear that ni-mh cells fry the charger when put in the controller...

take it back and buy a new one?

@viperdout, Negative. I've been using (for about a year and a half now) the XMods charger that comes with the 8 AAA Ni-mh batteries, best thing since sliced-bread for the controllers IMHO

@zzfreak, Not cool (if he's already taken it apart, replaced the internal cell, etc...).

I figured out my problem: I stored the batteries dead. They're dead ducks, but it was a great excuse to go li-po. I'll have pics up after my camera charges. On orange/orange, it pulls wheelies from a dead stop.
