More negative camber would actually decrease your ability to drift. The only reason why you see pictures of old school drifters in japan with a lot of negative camber because that's the only way they can control the car with their junkyard tires. Yes, it does look cool, but it does not help in any way. I had my old skyline drifting pretty well on the slick concrete floor in my basement. I had blue springs all around, the 4.5 degree tie rod, and soft tires. It would slide pretty well if I did a scandinavian flick first, which is where you turn away from the corner before turning into it.

who said it could?
about camber: camber was mostly for looks/fitment, theres alot of factors to go with the physics part of it though. front wheel steering/suspension geometry change as you turn, adjusting contact patch, lateral acceleration stuff... you'd want more in front to make up for understeer and that stuff as you counter, tires seem to break traction smoother blah blah blah... also in alot of cars as you lower you get more neg(-) camber. oldschool guys prolly didnt have RUCAS
i run a good amount in the rear, havent figured an easy way to adjust the front yet. this way i can correct the oversteer from my lsd. rwd is much harder and slower then awd in this scale but IMO much funner. the camber makes my tires wear out funny

everyone doing the hard way to drift, and sounds to complicating...
in reallity all you need (people that have RS motors)
awd
stage 2
drift kit
and youre good to go, just DONT break. turn and counter steer

No. Do you know what is camber? If you dont know already camber is the tilting of the top of the tires inwards, towards the chassis. It DOES not make you go faster, when the car corners and rolls or leans, it allows a better contact patch with the ground, generating more grip. It DOES not automatically make you go faster. Anti-roll bars (stabliser bars in R/C) can cut down the amount of roll generated during cornering and thus reduce the amount of camber needed.

well...
i dont drift any more with my xmod but i can tell u wat u want to do...
do not use foam it will result in uncontrolable spins wat u want to do is get the hardest rubber tires you can and a super torkey motor with white gearing also a soft suspension in front and a hard one in back works really well the thing about drifting is u dont want an uncontrolable spin u want a spin where u can regain contact with the surface at any time like if you decide to change the angle of the turn.
i never used AWD but i heard it works(i dont think so)
just go into the turn under half throttle and while the momentum of the car (BEARINGS BEARINGS BEARING!!!) swings you into the turn hit the gas which will break ur tires free and as u want to finish the turn let go of the gas half way and then slowly accelerate. DO NOT USE THE BREAKS!!!! if u do this right then u wont loose any speed which is the objective!
[edit]
p.s counter steering doesnt work unless you use a faster rc like a miniz or something. if you counter steer u will just go out of the turn.

as for my drifting setups:
Skyline:
Micro RS4 180 motor(11tooth)
AWD
Titanium driveshaft
RS drift tires or hard slicks
4.5 tie rod
Locked rear LSD
alloy rear cups
RSX
S2 9 tooth
CF driveshaft
RS drift tires or hard slicks
AWD
4.5 tie rod
alloy front hubs(dam things always break)
alloy rear cups
Locked LSD
I usually drift on concrete....but sometimes on hard wood floors....in that case i use the hard slicks
here's a small vid i put togather, on the bottom of the page
http://mini-zracer.com/gallery/Skurge
note..... the track shown is not my current track, its my setup as of a few months ago
i'll have to take some pics of my new setup

There's no such thing as a locked LSD. I'm sure he meant a locked differential, which means he glued the gears inside together.

No need to apologize, it's often difficult to detect sarcasm over the internet.
