i guess this might be consided ttt. Depends on how big you table is i guess. anyway im not sure what scale it will be. Probably somewhere inbetween the "normal" scales that most of the trucks are. So far ive got the rear axle made and all the electronics worked out and a mold for the resin part i will need made but unfortunatly thats as for as i can go for now. Im waiting on the universal joints i ordered from LEGO and the strength of resin i need. Anyway it will have a tube type chassis made of brass and 4wd (hopefully i still need to work some bugs out) Electronics are from an xmod. I know it aint the best electronics out there but it is propo, has a light harness that already hooks up to the board, and i already had it lying around gathering dust. Ok thats about all i got for now heres the back axle pics. Its made of copper. It has primer on it so that explains the color.
sorry the pics suck so bad. I could have sworn the looked better on the camera display. I guess thats how they get ya. anyway lego gears and shafts. Provides a pretty low ratio already but after i mate it with the 220:1 gear box i ordered this puppy will crawl over anything! To put that into perspective for anyone that doesnt have experience with rock crawlers my modified TLT has a ratio of around 20:1 and ive yet to find anything that isnt bigger than it that will stop it (including walls!) anyway if you have any questions or comments feel free to ask Ill make sure to post as soon as i make progress.
