Every thing you mention is out. It's time to stop punishing your supra. Give it a good cleaning, some add-ons, fresh batteries and a new lease on life.

I don't have a drift kit so I cannot answer that one.
I didn't know that RS had aluminum rims. I need a set of those!

I agree with Chrome01 the drift kit is really good with the RSX chassis and awd with red stage II. I really love it and think it was a great buy... and for MoeBrown20 is that a Parma slotcar Rotor Motor? I have a few of those in my slot cars and the open can looks just like one...

Yes, that is the case of it. Everything else has been redone and modified to fit in the xmod. Its pretty fast & doesn't get hot when I run it hard! Have you tried to install one of those in your xmod?
It's hard. some cutting, dremelling, and you have to make a custom motor mount.

Yeah, I've been gone for awhile now too. I got into bigger scale RCs for awhile, but those were just too darned expensive. So now I've bought a new Mustang body for my old chassis only to find one of my battery wires has broken, and half my bearings have seized. I'm gonna order some of Tiny's shielded dry bearings for it next week.

What is this resistor mod you speak of? I haven't been here in over a year it seems.

i havent been here in so long. my xmods still have been in use although not as much as b4. anyways, the resister mod i believe they are mentioning is where you solder on resistors going to your steering so you have a tighter cornering radius. iv'e done it to all my cars, i cant live w/o it. so they sell alloy wheels at rs now?? how much? i must have a set! or 2!

I was just at RS today, and I didn't see any alloy wheels. The new (plastic) wheel set comes with faux brake discs and they look sweet. I definitely recommend them if you're into looks.
