With the X-FRAME PRO-Stock Carbon Fiber Chassis v1.5 kit, what exactly needs to be modified to make this work? Or can this just go into a stock xmod??? Also what are some good suspension upgrades to go along with this?

Go to the thread start....................
The stock conversion is simply a component swap, using all the original electronics and suspension components. No modifications needed.
All suspension upgrades work with the chassis.

I was about to order some dragon plate CF and do my own till I was turned on to this thread.
Just one question is you CF chassis compatable with the GPM alloy parts?
I was looking forward to making my own, but I probably wouldn't get it right the first try so I might as well go with something that is tried and true.

I can't speak from personal experience on the parts fit, but many X-Frame racers are using the GPM parts on their chassis. Since the chassis was designed SPECIFICALLY for stock x-mods suspension swap, there should be no general issues with using GPM parts.
Please be aware that GPM users have expressed some issues with the GPM parts not working well on stock x-mods without some filing to eliminate clearance issues. You should expect the same issues when using the X-Frame chassis...........

Hey, Im now to this forum, but I have been watching it for some time. I was wondering if there was a mailing list I could get on or something to notify me if/when these chassis would be available? Myself and a buddy would both like to buy one. In fact I was planning on ordering a chassis from rcbutler, but I came across this and thought it was definately worth a shot. Please let me know if there is a way I can be notified about the chassis situation, or if you have them already and are ready to ship. Thanks for designing a rockin chassis...hope to have my hands on a couple asap. Thanks again.

You'll be happy you waited. I love my Zero chassis, and it can handle the torque and speed of my shoehorned Mamba 6800 brushless motor!

Thanks!
It is over-engineered for the demands of power users.....I admit, never thought about the Mamba in an X-mod. That has got to be a wild ride.
Any pics posted?
