easy fix for that. just take the cup out and push the 2 ends together. if you can find a ring that is small enough to fit over the cup and between the 2 little arms it shouldnt do that again. its sort of like on the bigger nitro buggys. they need a ring to go around the end of the cup so that it doesnt blow apart.

Racing Dry Shielded! However, we've got some bad news - the bearings appear to have been lost in transit! We're still trying to find out more details, and will update you as soon as we find out what has happened. Worst case, it should only be 2-3 weeks to replace them, though this is very frustrating as we should have had them In Stock last week.

They come in when I don't have any cars that could use bearings.
Oh well, hopefully you other people will enjoy them.
Are the shielded bearings lifetime maintenence free?

reviews??
I didn't see any reviews/comparisons on these bearings after you got them in...
Any pictures/reviews or comments from anyone who has already purchased the sealed beaerings?

I received my set today and all I have to say is looks like I will be ordering 3 more sets for the rest of my cars.
I installed them on my AWD RSX with just a couple of problems.
Driveshaft bears fit well.
Rear bearings all went in good except one which was a bit of a pain.
Front Bearings were the worst. Had to scratch some of the black off the axles to get them to slide into the bearings.
Once installed I found I had a severe pull to the left and one wheel (left) did not spin till full throttle. I think the wheel nut was too tight. Running straight now.
I have only ran the car 5 minutes so my review is more a first impression. Some things I have found:
After perhaps 5 sets of batteries and running only indoors the yellow bushings are showing wear. Which I find alarming since I do a basic tear down of the car after ever set of batteries.
I had originally planned to augment the TinyRC sealed bearings with sealed wide track bearings but don't feel this is necessary now. The TinyRC bearings tighten the car up so much over the bushings that where I could once wiggle the front wheel vigorously I can now feel barely any side to side play.
Hopefully the sealed beaings will stand up well as even indoors the car picks up so much crap that open bearings would be gummed up in no time.
All I can say is Buy bearings! Now!

Ok. I just ordered mine. Of course I went with the Racing Shielded Bearings. From all the talk here I better see 60 mph out of them... j/k. I have used several types and makes of bearing in most of my cars. I am excited to see how these will perform.
I would probably buy them from here anyway, just because of the great service after the sale I have received with other purchases. These guys are top notch.

I have foudn a downside to bearings. When I tighten my lugnuts up the wheel presses against the outside of the bearing thus seizing up the wheel. If I loosen the nut it eventually spins off. I have to get it just right. This is on the front of an AWD car. Not sure what RWD is like. Haven't got the bearings for my other cars yet. But they are coming..........
UPDATE:
All my cars now have bearings. I love TinyRC!
Also I discovered my wheel seize problem was simply the inner knuckle bearings not being in quite tight enough.
