batteries?

I was wondering if anyone has managed to modify an Xmod to fit AA batteries instead of AAA.
Maybe i should be more specific...Has anyone managed to fit 4 or 5 AA batteries in an Xmod, and still put the body back together?

i doubt that any has ever done that not only because is it not worth the time, but because its a waste of space and weight. because the AAs are bigger doesnt meant that they'll deliver more voltage and current into the xmod. the AAAs work just fine...which is why you just see people doin 5-6 and even 7 cell mods w/ AAAs...if you're gonna put 4-5 AAs in an xmod you might as well put some 9v instead

AA batteries are 1.2-1.5 volts as well. The only difference is the amperage they can produce. Also, Li-ion batteries used in xmods are generally the same size as AA batteries, and yes, a few people were crazy enough to try four

I decided to bring back the Xmod. It was just not worth it without the AWD kit, which isnt even available around here yet. Is gonna be a lil while yet before they have them here. I have other RCs to toy with untill i decide which one to get to replace this one.
I am thinking of this one i saw earlier today....but for the life of me i just cant remember the stinkin name of it. Will find out tomorrow and post to see if anyone knows anything about it.

What do you mean the name of it? Was it an Xmod? Let me know I'm pretty good with 1/8th 1/10th and 1/12th and 1/18th scale R/C cars so I might can help but, If it's an Xmod I know I can help hahaha...
