It looks so shiny. It fits the stock shaft perfectly, or will I need some shims?

I used small plastic tubing to get it to fit on the shaft just right the pinion had to be modified also cause with the Robinson racing pinions they dont allow the screw to travel all the way through so you have to file the inside threads down a little to get the screw to travel all the way to the shaft I didnt use the hex screw instead I used a phillips screw so now the rotational balance is all off which also causes poor performance with the body on the car it sounded like a vibrating pager on steroids or a 50ft bumblebee its very loud. These pinions are nickel plated steel

61+ MPH at 16.8 volts 4 sec.

Relays thats childs play I can do that too but I dont want it . Id like to keep the proportional control

It could be drivable if I duct taped the battery packs on top of the car and had the right relay. My little fun with the speed checker is over now I need a radar gun.

No problems here man

Not to be rude but hell naw I wouldnt buy anything from him!!!
A while back I used these for my zip zap controller the 9v battery mod. you can get them at RS for around $1.50 #276-1770 all the info. you need is on the back of the package I dont know how anyone else is doing it but this setup works very well for me. It really isnt no fun to have a hobby as this and have to buy already modified parts like this its more fun to perform the mods yourself what Im trying to say is Id rather get my own hands dirty then pay someone else to do it for me but I guess thats what makes everyone different.

Its time for me to put these cars up and rebuild my amp rack for my db drag car and maybe rack up some points and be invited to the worlds finals In my dreams.

Li-on upgrade NO!!!!!! more amps YES but I think 1.0 amp output current is enough for the main circuit board at 7.2v
RS regulator are only good for 6cell but you'll still gain power and smooth out the steering stop the shivers.
