Just looked at the stats, the ESC is HUGE! You wouldn't have room for much else.

ESC: .95 x 1.72 x 0.4"
Motor: 0.79 dia x 1.3"

The TO I have is .75" dia x 1.75" (including shaft).

So I think the motor would fit, tho mine is still touching the motor pod after dremeling a good bit off. You won't have much left of it :P Potentiality suggested that if you dremel it, to superglue the edges to maintain strength and prevent cracking.

If you have the cash, I say go for it. Just know that if you do, you are obligated by law to take video and post it.

Awesome, I wholeheartedly support you and anxiously await results. Video is a must, no backing out :P

Ran my SP at the track again tonight, still having a bit of trouble dealing with traction. Foams grip too much and I traction roll often (could be the driving...) and I tried some DRR rubbers up front (foams rear) and had to slow to a crawl to get a decent turning radius. You know its a bad radius if you're having issues on a 1/10 ozite carpet track... Anyway, going to figure out which are the hardest foams and get a pair for the front and see if that helps any.

TJF, how much did the combo (motor+ESC) run you if you don't mind me asking? I certainly don't have the money now, and I think a M18 would come first, but a guy can dream :P

138 without shiping....150 USD for the Mamba 25 including shipping.

I promise I won't back out.
You will get pics and (if all goes well) a video.
I am so psyched about it.

Hey.... I was thinking of ordering a 8000kv one for my Mini-T and using it on my X4 and maybe my bro's Micro.... We should meet up sometime! You're in Albany, and I'm 40 min southwest of there!!! You probably know of the Altamont Fair right? I'm past there, up Altamont Hill about 10 minutes.
