Internal Tri-Cell Sleeper!!!

I have an idea, If you took a ZZSE's 2.4v dual cell pack, put it in front of the normal battery, and wired them all up, it would be just like an internal Tri-Cell. Then, Stage 2 MOSFET it and use a 3.43:1 ratio with a 4.2 King and it will smoke any Micro RC you can think of... well... maybe not every (muhahaha )...
Kinda like this \/

That would definitely work in a standard zip. I have been racking my brains on how to do something similar on my SE, but there's just no room.

Can you say,"Fried motor"? These motors fry on 6 volts straight, but I don't know how much voltage it would take through the circuit board.

I think it will not work. I think it won't because they might have different MaH and the voltage differance.

R33E8, do you mean the tri cell or the quad cell wont work? I just remembered that a rechargeable battery has only 1.2 volts per cell, vs the normal 1.5 volts, so a quad cell would work:

1.2 X 4 = 4.8
1.5 X 4 = 6.0

The board can take 5 volts, so it would work, but it's pushing the limit.
But isnt that what we all do here....
