Question batteries

Hey has any body know if anyone has tried to drop a 9volt batt in their xmod

IM going to try it. IM working on it now for that mater its all ready for the new 9v just need to find a way to mount it have not put the new battery connector in yet but its ready to get soldered in. it wont look anything like a sleeper though more like a dragster.

DONT DO IT!!! unless you have a stock unmodefied car that can be returned or another $50 for a new car. this will likely fry the electronics during daily driving. if you are doing a short drag race it will be ok but extended periods of using the 9v will fty the electronics.

i have 2 extra sets of electronics I got free so I really don't have much to loss. IM building it so that I can run either the stock 4 triple A's for every day running or the 9v for drag racing.
I plan to upgrade the stock fets with a 2x2 stack.
