A picture of the inside of my Xmod. Dont worry about the white color on the motor wires. That is just white out, used it to hold the wire to the motor. I dint have anything else to use.

Does anyone know how i can put these pimped out chrome wheels on? The hubcaps are the exact same size as the Xmod hubcaps. Except the holes are to big for the screws, to hold them in place.

the prolem coud be the whiteout. search for the tires. and why don't you just buy the wires from ratshack? you could use those if they fit. buy a soldering kit for about 20 at ratshack.

The White out can't be messing the range up. Reason is i din't use the white out on the antena wire, i only used it for the motor wire. Do you know what size of solder wire, i would need for the Xmod to solder the wire? do you know if any of the solders can also resolder on the same machine? If not i will have to buy a solder and a resolder. So your saying the Tyco wires found on page1 can be able to go on the Xmod. (if it can fit on the Xmod). Does it matter what the wire is made of to conduct to the antena? like which kind of wire would go farther distance then another material would go. Out of bronze, steel, and copper, which material would give you better range?

I got a solder yesterday, and i used it to on my xmod. And i put a different wire on, it was made out of copper. And the thing will still did not connect.
You know the stock wire, does anyone know what it is made of. I know it is not copper, because it is a silver color of wire inside.
Oh either it could be my controler that is messed up. Because i dropped it before i even got it soldered. But if it was the controller got messed then how would it have any range if it did im saying???
I felt on my Controller that the Crystal was very lose on it. Could that be the range problem?

Not that long ago, i put a steel wire and i connected to the inductors. It still did not help the range, then i put knew inductors on the range is still the same. And then i fix my lose holder on my controler that holds the racing crystal. And my range still is not working. Do i need to buy a new Xmod???

ghetto fab Xmod. lol

if you would take the tape off of where the solder is we could see if its right. it should be shiny not dull. you also need to use rosin core solder not acid. acid is for plumbing not electronics. you could also try using some rosin flux on the wires to help you tin them.

Take off the tape on the antenna so we can see what's been done.
