Strange but likes the looks of that car.
All I can find at the WM around here on the west cost are the squished bullet oem's ones.
Its got some serious zip, major hill climbing and good strait steering!

Makes me wonder why Tomy doesn't come up with some different style rims.

Is the motor wired in this car, or is it removable like the bits?

Looks like wired.
When I can find a screwdriver that will fit the front body hold down screw, will open and check!
The only other car I got that climbs like this one is my iRacer. But have not hop up the ohter cars.
On slick surface it really pulls but a more gripping material its pretty strait in travel. So its steering is not as good as I first thought. Oh well!
I saw the other type people have talked about but that was months ago.

I found a "motor Works" car at Walmart. Bought 2, 1 didn't work. Go figure.

Nakamichi Racer from Wally World
I picked up a couple of these...figured I'd cannibalize them if they had some parts I could use. Motor is not interchangable...at least not until I can pry it out. The car I opened and gave to my son to play with is kickin' butt. A little short on range, but it moves. Interesting battery set up in the car. I'll power up the digital camera and take a pic or 2.

They're on a "waitlist" at QVC. Up to a 45 day wait
I've been to every Wal-Mart within 30 miles, and no luck. I did get a couple of the Motor Works cars. The batteries worked well for my dual battery mod....

It does move well and goes farelly strait. Wanted to get one to modify the recharager to handle variable time and charge rates. And like others for spareparts.
PS: Cyberguys.com is selling what looks like bullets. Four different styles with freq 27,35,45,49 for 14.95 or 13.49 for 2 or more.
