Mike, excellent work! I'm glad to see you working on the site too, makes me feel more confident that your working hard to give consumers what they want.
Your definately somebody I would/will buy from.

It's good to see more folks making parts for the Xmods. One day we'll be able to build an Xmod that will actually hold up to the punishment we put them through.

Keep it up Mike!

Thanks for the nice comment.
I am always putting the customer first.
I have added a chat room and a small forum to the site.
If all goes well with the chat room and forum I will expand it.

What do you use to cut the decks anyway? Do you have access to a machine shop?do you make a stamp and die for every single one? Is there a magical tool that can do all this?

Ah! I took a stab. I figured waterjets were more practical therefore more common.

The laser didn't do CF too well eh? Seeing as how your moving on to aluminum, I take it CF is just not doable. What went wrong?

Anyhow, keep up the good work Mike. Those are good quality parts at affordable prices.

Do you have other capabilities? I would like to see more durablility issues addressed. Mainly with driveline and susspension parts.

Has RS abandoned the Xmod? With all it's success I would have thought more products and maybe even an upgraded kit would be out by now.

I am still working on the Carbon Fiber, but they won't have crazy designs in them. Before everyone asks why, here is why. The fibers that make up the carbon fiber will not stay together very good and fray when I try to get very detailed. Even the NOS deck didn't work. So I will keep trying till I figure something out with the carbon fiber. So don't give up on me yet. If all goes well in the end I will try to make the decks and the chassies.

I have been looking at other parts to make, but for the design time and the machining time would cost me to much to make them affordable. I am trying to keep everything within a kids budget.

I would rather make parts that everyone can buy and still have money left to play with.

As far as RS I have no clue what they are up to. I am ready for something new though.

I am currently working on several new designs that should be available be the end of next week.

Thanks, Mike
