dirt xmod
This is my dirt-mod. I cut a 1/24 scale malibu SS into quarters and spent 2 days filling and sanding. I recycled the rear bodymount to keep the body. AWD kit and LEGO tires. the red huds are the landing wheeles from a balsa plane. All I need now is to give it 6 cell power.
sorry the pic is fuzzy

do a search in the XMODS>XMODS forum for "Decieful Supra" or "6 cell mod"

I got a handle on the 6 cell mod. Need more gear reduction though. I'm not worried about top end speed. It's about the low end power.

you could retard the timing or add more winds for more torque. go with the Stage 1 drift motor if you want torque. its the torquest thing that RS makes. or go with someone elses motor.

Add windings to the motor.....hmmmm. that would solve my problem. Is there a thread on this? I wouldn't want to over load the PCB.

I completed the 5/6 cell mod. The results are impressive. Also I finally got the suspension and light kits. I have 3 RS stores near me and none of them can keep these parts in stock.
While I was there I got new batteries for my digital camera so, I am posting a better pic.

you may want to ditch the lights if you want speed/torque. they take a lot of runtime and speed away.
