hey dudes i dont post much here because im not in to heavy into 1/64 scale (i think my fingers are too big) but anyway im planning to combine my love for larger scale (1/10) and my smaller rc i got for christmas from my gradparents (zip zap se). well i though I screwed up my battery trying to add another battery to the zip zap se. but when i test the battery with the volt meter it has the amount of voltage it needs but when i push it to the connectors on the pcb and try throttle or steering it wont work. does that mean i fried my pcb? ive checked for loose connections with a mag. glass and i cant find anything. please help if you can it would really help.
Have you tried going back to the stock configuration??? The ZipZap SE has a current limiter of some sort that negates anything more than 2.4 volts. So if you added another battery pack upping the voltage to 4.8, then the PCB may have just shut itself off cuz of too much current. If so, you should be good once you get it back to stock.
To bypass this, you can get a MOSFET mod and somehow that kills the limiter.
