beter off the line traction. easier drifts
(fyi) cons are bad turning ability.. positrac would work best on a dragster, but would suck for a road coarse, if i were u search lsd, thir your best bet!

"Posi-track" is just what GM calls their differentials that have the ability to lock. The real name for it is a locked differential.

I've never broken any joints, but everyone seems to have so many problems with them...

i never saw a difference in handling it actually helps with certain surfaces. its allows the car drift very slightly and make higher revoloutions per minute, which helps not only helps around corners, it also helps you get out of the turn faster. this slight drift is also used in real life, like in the endurence races they slide very little but enough to rev the car and help it turn.

My post, copied from.. another forum:
This is a Mini-Z body (though I've been having a hard time finding it.. I got this from a friend at school, who got it in Hong Kong).
The body fits the middle wheelbase setting (190mm?), which is how the RSX comes. If you don't have an RSX, it's a good time to get carbon fiber driveshafts from slugbugg - email him at slugbugg@ameritech.net and ask for information. You'll get one driveshaft of each size for $10 shipped.
I constructed the mount out of hot glue and a cd case. It's not the sturdiest, but it holds up unless I hit something pretty hard, in which case one of the pieces comes unglued. The advantage of this is that the clip breaks instead of the body breaking, and a blob of hot glue fixes everything.
The front clip doesn't reach the slot on the body, so I glued a piece of CD case to the underside of the front clip. I traded the RSX clip for a Civic clip, so the Civic looks lowered and the Evo body is at the proper height.
The rear clip is attached to the body underneath the trunk. I'll take a better picture when I get home. I tried attaching it to the roof, but it was flexible as if the body had its own shocks.

The Evo has the RSX (middle) wheelbase.
Don't just copy my setup though.. Figure out what setup works best for your location and style. For example, if I feel like I'm oversteering too much one day, I might move my batteries to the front instead. If I'm going to drive in a big area, I might be better off with red or yellow gearing. Figure out what settings to use based on your needs.
I've never had an iBook before.. The laptop you saw probably was my Toshiba Tecra. I did all my editing on that machine using Windows Movie Maker 2.

It's when you replace a couple of resistors to decrease the turning radius.
