well duh, its jsut temporary...... and it handles okay still. ive decided to keep the cells in and have chopped the top because they wont fit in the shell

i know it looks horrible.... im going to sand and re-paint it soon
i chopped the top using a dremel-like dog nail grinder thing my mom got on ebay.

my next projec is going to try to modify a model car to fit on the chassis, so no one will know theres 3 xtra cells under he roof

movie, sorry for the darkness, and the music (my band is really bad ) its hard to guage the speed of the car because i don't really have much room to drive in (were snowed in and my carpet is drying cuz my dad shampooed it so its off limits)

It's hard to see how fast it actually is, but it looks like it's having trouble taking off with 7 AAAs.

no more racing for a while... the soldered connections on the origional battery holders didnt hold up, so im just going to bite the bullet and learn to solder....

damm...I dunno...all those batt. look like wont make a diff due to all the weight. I tried making mines a 6th cell but then it would just spin tired..so...I dunno..my tired are pretty wasted but still..that's a lot of weight...so..I might do some checking on my power-to-weight ratios

it does make a huge difference.. the only real drawback is acceleration, because your right, it is a lot of weight, but when it gets up to speed it just keeps accelerating....

i just soldered it together, origionally i just twisted the wires together and duct taped them together.

i'm not sure what you guys are saying about acceleration, i have 6 cells with top speed motor nad it takes off like the red stage 2 motor if not faster i havent had time to do a real top end run damn rain and snow
