Okay, the BEST way to do this is to get 3 bit char-g batteries, preferrable Nimh with atleast 110mah capacity.
Solder these together in a small pack to make a 3.6 volt battery pack.
Use a small DC power connector (to use as a switch and a charging jack)
Wire four 5mm Superbright (atleast 7000MCD) white leds in PARALLEL, that is all the positive legs of the LEDs wired together and all the NEGATIVE legs wired together.
Then just solder that up to a small DC connector, and you have a bright, rechargeable headlight that should light up the road clear as day.
Note: The reason i recommend a SEPARATE battery pack is because you get terrible results using the car battery.....everytime you step on the throttle the lights dim.
