What could Radio shack do?
Im just putting this question out there to those who seem to have this undying contempt for Xmods or even for those that like em but know some improvements can be made. Im new to RC but ive read enough to know that mini-z are all the rage in 1/28 scale RC so i would like to know what some of you would suggest so that Radio Shack can do to improve upon their current xmod platform. They did come out with a ZipZap SE so i wouldnt be surprised if they dont come out with some hopped up version of the current xmod somtime in the near future. Ideas?

I dont really mean like new add ons. More like how they can make the next generation closer to a professional grade. Like..say Id gladly pay say 75 bucks for an xmods SE that would be faster and turn like its no body's bussiness. Also have parts made of somthing alittle more durable than the plastic its made out of now. With Radio Shacks corporate money im sure they could afford to make a pro class machine that would appeal to the masses and still be affortable. I mean Kyosho is big but i think if radio shack devoted some more R&D and money to their xmods department they could mass produce somthing that would actually give mini-z's a run for their money. Dont hate me mini-z people im really not trying to start an arguement...just posing a question.

They should reverse-engineer the MR-02 Mini-Z the way they did the MR-01 for the current XMods.

i think that the chassis should be toughened up with some aluminum or stronger plastic. and some sealed/waterproof electronics would be nice.

The SHack knows XMODS improvements are needed. They know they are huge sellers, so Im sure they have something coming to kick things up.
I see newer body kits including wide bodies with wheels ot match (so you dont have to turn your wheels inside out), faster engines, more advanced and solid parts and chassis, more upgrades, more everything.
Oh, and of course, Id bet money on an Overland type of XMOD to copy the Overland Mizi-ns.

an overland type would be great as long as it has 4WD. Overlands are only RWD right?
