kawaii!!!!

Yes, yes, I know "cuteness" probably isn't the best word for such a kick ass toy (especially in a mostly guy filled forum, snerk) but damn that's cute. In lieu of finally getting my own bike, this'll do. Thinking fewer mods will be available for this than the cars, right?

Thanks for the links!

word of advice on the cycles

Don't take em apart, even just to look. I lost one that way. They DO NOT go back together, and Im a fairly good tech on such things. After I opened it up things looked cool. Then I tryed to put the fron end back together, foreget it! ! ! There is no way! Still got one. They are very cool. But I still like my car better.

ViperKid, like I keep telling you - they are already too fast stock, there's no way you would want to upgrade the motor!

Dan, could you post pics of your disassembled bike to save those whose curiosity would have apparently resulted in catastrophy from losing their bike?

ok, ok i give up, still there has got to be a way to upgrade the motor. just because it goes fast doesn't keep you from wanting it to go faster

Remove the rider! You can go ahead an pull it open and attempt to upgrade it, but don't say Dan didn't warn you!

hows the control with these things

Is the turning radius the same as a bit or is turning worse? How's speed compare to bit booster?

Looks very cool.

The turning depends completely on the surface - on some surfaces you can spin the rear wheel and turn on a dime, on others with more traction your turning radius will be greater. The speed is incredible, and again it depends on the surface as if it's too slippery you'll spend a lot of time spinning, but on the right surface it will out-drag a Bit no problem!

How do they steer?

Kyosho did bigger mototrcycles. I think they steered by the steering servo moving the riders ass. Basically they steered by weight transfer.

Unhappy ummmm its kinda past disasembly pics

My motorcycle looks like it hit a brick wall. Think of a bunch of parts in a globe After I figured out that I could not reasemble it I tried to reuse the steering coil on my booster bit as I toasted one in my booster (I need a new booster car HELP!!!!!!!!!).

The coil is kinda different, they only use one coil in the bike and two magnets (Weird!). THe motor looks like the ones from the OEM bit so its not the same as the actual bit char -g and has wired sprouting off of the back of it.

Tell you the truth It is now earmarked for a very small r/c aiplane , ao all is not lost. The steering is pretty ok and is enhanced by the revers action. Also it has this cool LED that goes on anytime you go forward or reverse.

Overall the bike is a Gass and is a steal for the price. BUT DO NOT TAKE IT APART~!~~! If taken the car apart no prob but the bike is assembled by little knomes in 0 G gravity or sumthing. THe front end explodes in a hale of springs and stuff when it comes apart.

The bike is Fast though and I doubt that anyone will be looking for more speed. Maybe a better rear tire though. That would be nice as the original is too hard a rubber and seems to work best on paper and cardboard.
