i dont have a micro servo the two servos are the same (traxxas standard servos)

You said you had a micro servo speed control... Did you throw away the rest of the servo? If not just rebuild it and use it as the steering.

Ive heard that while using standard size servos, you generally don't want to be powering a motor bigger than the one that comes in the servo, otherwise it draws too many amps.

oh my bad on the first post i put servo esc and on one of the post i put micro. all i have is two standart servos

this may save you a lot of time making your own u-joint!

if you have a swiffer broom look at the u-joint on it. if you dont have one there in the brooms and mops section at a grocery store.
