Having it exit there would involve ducting the air flow to that point and it would make for a very tiny exhaust outlet, in addition to the fact that there would have to be a 90 degree bend which would reduce the effectiveness.

Putting a small duct inside, coming from the roof of the car down inside at an angle seems like it would not only give a larger duct with a larger outlet but also less turns inside.

I'm new to xmods, but I've been doing the PC modding thing for a long time so I tend to thing in a straight line. If the things I'm saying make no sense at all then you'll have to forgive me.

These motors run hot, they are designed to do so. If you want good cooling cut a hole in the rear window over the motor, hot air rises so it will be able to escape and flow some air.
I cut the vents in my supra hood, side skirts and front air dam to increase air flow and give it a functional look. The rear portion of the cars is higher off the ground then the rest of the car so air can escape from under the car. Cut out the license plate if you want more flow from the back but there should be enough.

Fans would be a wast of time, money, space, energy and weight so don't bother.

Bleek, this is not a car engine, you will never notice any performance gain by cooling the motor but you may increase the longevity if you are running 5 or 6 cells.

Here's a good way to cool the car:
Drive it ouside without the body! it only takes a couple of minutes or less to get the motor back to room temperature when driven on a cool winter day...or any day

you would be better off cutting out the back window and putting the fan on the heatsink and turing it so it sucks air of the heat sink and ittll flly out the back window

That 540 fan is for cooling the brushes, these are by far the hottest part in the motor.

I personally think a to-220 heatsink does wonders...
