Fets are probably okay, since the RS people don't know how to take the cars apart and are easilly hidden. Motors can pobably be modded too.

But if you don't have rs batts your toast Well... i dunno.

When I said only RadioShack parts, I should have been more clear. I meant that only RadioShack's XMODS parts would be allowed. Again, I am only repeating rumors.

Also, testing the amp draw of a motor is very simple and will point out any cheaters. Why would you want to cheat anyway?

I was just saying that RS usually doesn't do as they say.

I don't plan to go to any of these races. Heck there's not even anyone to race me where I live.

I hope RS has a division where its only RS mods so that its an even race and the best driver wins, since everyone has equal power. It will probably be;

A.) Stock (out of box)
B.) Modified (only RS mods)
C.) Outlaw (no restrictions)

I'm really looking forward to the Modified class because I dont want to race some 40 year old man that spends his whole life tinkering with these things.. so he has like a 30MPH XMOD. lol
Besides as far as the cheating goes, im pretty sure they are going to have some sort of way to test how much current or voltage is going through.

I think the stock class would be best because it shows who has the most skill. I don't necessarily know which settings and springs, motors, etc. are best, so stock would give me an advantage.

God its ridiculous what kind of rumors get started. Does anyone have any evidence that there is even going to be classes?? I forget who said it but they were like, " I can't wait to be in the modified class maybe even the outlaw class" Whoever said that...high five on making crap up

From what I've heard the plan is to have one class that would allow only RadioShack XMODS parts. It was also said that body painting would be allowed, but nothing else. This of course is all rumor and I doubt RadioShack has firmly decided what they want to do.

So, what's everyone going to do? If/when RS holds a racing series and "they" supply you with a motor and batteries....to keep things fair.

i remember my dad saying that he had a friend with a nitro car and when ever he went to a race that the track supplied the engines. you drew out of a hat and picked the motor that way. but i would think that RS is gonna supply the motors so that everything is fair.

I do not think that RS would test people's motors, or have motors to "hand out" or any of that. They will probably do a visual inspection of the cars and that would be it. So if someone were to take the white Stage 1 motor and rewind it, and replace the pinion, I doubt that any RS employee would notice. ANY races that are going to be held by RS will be for advertisement purpouses. Wich means that the people racing their X-Mods would basically be selling the upgrades for RS. Think about it, you win the race and everyone who watched would ask you what you did, then head to the counter and get the same stuff you have. Any prizes that may be available are not going to be soo valuable that they would do motor draw tests or hand out motors.
