you could if u could find a transmitter cristal on the same freq.

you might be able to if you take the crystal out of the ZZ conroller. its soldered in there and IDK if the "programming" will be compatable

I doubt it. Radioshack made sure that the X-Mod controler and car use a Propriatarey signal. That means that you can not get a standard RC controller and use it with an X-Mod. So if you cannot use any controller with an X-Mod then I doubt you could use the X-Mod controller with any other RC car (Including ZZ or ZZSE)
