anyone wanna here this crazy idea??

it will work just like a real turbo it will give u better power at higher rpms

ok i don't know if any other people that are real into electronics but...

these little electric motors double as generators in reverse

so if u mount a engine above your engine driving the drive train and run the top one off a belt( skinny rubberband) or mesh the gears together and wire it back to the engine driving the car it will send more current to the engine where its gets up in higher rpms thus acting as a real turbo

picture attached

sorry if the picture sucks i had to make it real fast i hope its understandable - please give feed back

if we use a second motor, and the second motor is slower than the primary motor, would that slow down the car?

Maybe so but, there is also a possiblitity that the performance increase with make up for the weight of extra batts, or u could use lithium. Ohh yeah i just remembered u need to upgrade to handle more voltage... Hmm the posiblites

Edit: Call me stupid but bleek ur planning the 2nd motor increase voltage to the 1st ? b/c i dont quite understand it all im confused ill sit back and wait for more info.

uhh..im pretty sure he isnt talking about adding voltage..just trying to add more speed by adding 2 motors..am i wrong? and yes you can upgrade it to handle more voltage..hmm wait..now im thinkin..could this be a problem..check it:

If you wanna add 2 motors..you will def need to add more voltage..prolly more then the electronics can handel..(saying you wanna max out both motors) you will need to upgrade the first motor to be able to handel the voltage..it 3am..im gettin confused here..so i can be wrong..lol..

Adding another motor to the mix would add more power, not nessarally more speed. Adding another battery or 2 would be a lighter and easier option. You would not have to make sure that both motors are the same speed, and turning in the apporiate direction, and also how to put the cover back on, how to mount the 2nd motor, can the FET in the car handle double the load... The list goes on. However I would love to see someone actually do this.

Here is my "Turbo" idea. You know the TH. TRIM switch on top of the remote? Well I am planning on wiring a push button to that switch. I am thinking of placing this button on the remote where my left thumb rests right next to the stering wheel. When I want/need another burst of speen I just press the button with my thumb and POOF a suddon burst of SPEED!

some of you aren't understanding the concept. the second motor is running off the power driving the car so there is no loss in energy only a gain. it might not be as much as desired but u will notice it as the rpms increase and more evergy is generated. but i want to talk to some of u on ain for a thorough explaination

That's pretty bizaare and I doubt that it would work, even though I'd like to see it done just to prove me wrong; but an extra motor weighs more than an extra battery (possibly 2 for that matter) and also, there's no way you can gain energy without losing some energy from the original motor. And the speed that one motor can move will be limited to the speed that the other can move, which would give you a minimal increase in RPM's anyway.

Basically, the energy generated by one motor moving wouldn't be enough to make the other motor spin very fast, and since they would be geared together (meaning they have to be moving at the same speed), chances are that the slower moving second motor would only slow down the original motor.

I thouht about that. I even looked into it. Rs has the switch needed. And it would be more like NOS not a turbo.

Later

it would not matter how fast the second motor was because it is not using electricity to drive it it is using the other motor. the only thing that would limit it would be friction. btw, bleek what is you aim? mine is aero528i, but i am not on very much. i would like to talk to you about this idea.
