Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think on a stock xmod <before awd kit> the front wheels connect to two small pins rather than one large axel like the rear. If any of you have taken your front completely apart you'll know what i mean. My idea would be to take out one of those two pins from the front and heat it with a soldering iron while holding it with some pliers or something, then just push the hot metal through the plastic to get your d shaped hole. I think it'll work...i'll have to open up the front again to double check on the pins though. Good luck.

Actually, like I said before, I did use one of the metal axle pins to finish the holes. I use the hobby knife to get it close, but a little smaller, then pushed one of the pins thru to open it up to the correct size, but I didn't have to heat it.

sweet... i'm ordering mine as we speak. i am going to try the heat method and see what happens, i'm just hoping it doesn't melt too much of the wheel and screw it up... we'll see though.
before i go any further (and use the heat method) has anyone yet to try it? thanks...

Seems to me that (using the methods described) it would be very difficult to get the hole exactly centered. BC..... When you spin the wheel does it run true? If so I applaud your skill.

Can you change the tires on these? Will the stock XMODS tires fit? Thanks.

Oooh, *drools* pretty......
Those wheels would look good on a resto-mod like, oh say, a Camaro.
