I was doing the 6-Cell upgrade to my Xmod, and when I finished I had no power going to the motor, all I had was control for the steering. So I was going to return what I thought was a burned out XMOD and as I put all the stock parts back, just for HaHa's I put in the batteries and the motor worked! I connected the motor that was in there before, and it doesn't work (Stage 2 11 tooth). So I had a defective motor not Xmod! So the moral of this story is, if you have lost functuallity of your motor try a different one. It worked for me
