Angry screw screws!!!!

whats with these xmod screws!!! I JUST BOUGHT a new white supra (my third xmod) brand frikken new... went to replace the stage1 with my stage2 drift... and i frikken stripped a screw on the bottom (one of the flat screws)
the real head banger here is... I cannot replace the rear end of the supra because of one frikken screw. i would like to put my bearings for the rear axle and such too...
any methods of removing this menacing screw? please advise...

i hate those screws!!!! the screws on the arms that hold the axle and suspension are very bad. i have to use pliers every time i take it out or screw it in. i hope radio shack sells like a pack of screws that you need for the xmods that are better quality.

As for your question: Get a small needlenose pliers. Grip the screw firmly and begin to loosen..this is what I do with screws that are too far gone.

I have stripped too many Xmod screws in my day, and I have only had it for about a week...Definitely switch screw drivers (I have 4 different Craftsman screwdrivers that I use for each type of screw). You can use a regular screw in the place of the flat body screw, it doesn't make a difference. Whenever you start stripping a screw if you get it out then throw it away and just replace it with a new one. With upgrades and extra screws you obtain you can just replace it and save yourself the hassle. I have too many screws to count.

I use a Swiss Army knife for the stripped screws.... The tip of the blade really bites into whats left of the head.

True that... there's nothing wrong with the screws, it's the crappy screwdriver that RS includes. I've never used them, so I've never had a problem.

Now I just use an electric drill w/ a screw bit in it.. it's alot harder to strip the screws and it allows you to remove some of the screws that have been stripped
