custom decals

would anyone be interested in custom vinly printed decals for thier xmods, i may be able to pull the resources together to print up custom decals but i need to build up some support for them first, if i can get the demand for them i'm sure i could get them printed, btw they would not be free, they would be posted on ebay

if you are going to let "us" support you with this idea, then you should let "us" buy them before people on ebay.
just think about it.

If you want custom graphics that no one has. Go to a good sign shop in your area, they should have the ability to make whatever you want in any color for about 12 to 20 bucks. If you buy somthing off ebay you can gaurentee it wont be original or custom for very long. PEACE

If your talking about sponser decals buy the sticker kit from RS 5.99. Be warned that none of the "sponsor" decals are the same size. While they give you 2 of each in white and 2 of each in black, they are not the same size (you get 1 white & 1 black that are the same size, which is just stupid IMO). If you want a custom body graphics kit, draw what you want on a piece of paper, take it to a sign shop that makes vinal signs and they should be able to make you what you want in any color you want on vinyl for about 20 bones. Hope this helps, PEACE

Actually making your own decals isnt that difficult.

I had a friend cut me some vinyl logos for my car group (Team Dead Bunny) and just used one of those logos for my hood graphic. It looks rad with the black logo on the yellow hood of my Skyline.

What I plan on doing for the other stickers is get some clear sticker sheets that are laser/inkjet printable. THen you just print up your stickers, spray with fixative and you have some solid custom stickers.

I was thinking I'd print up an assortment of stuff since, lets face it, at 8.5x11 you could fit a ton of stickers on there.

I have no problems with the design of the stickers, but what to use is the problem. Obviously I am going to put Team stickers on it, but I dont want to put a bunch of brands on there, esp since A) they arent actually on the car, and B) it would require me to 'use' someones logo without official permission.

Any ideas on what kinds of stuff I could do besides Team logos?

Thats an attractive sounding car group. j/k It is very original. Does anyone think that the graphics paper in the graphics kit will go through the printer, if so then make your own graphics in paint or something and print them out

maybe it's easier said than done
