Project: ZZ Vette
I was going to make an Import Tuners Skyline into a ZZ..but that was too much trouble for me, so I started looking through some of my old die cast cars and found an old Majorette (do they even make these anymore) Corvette. A rather old model, I'm not really much on American cars, all I know is that its a Vette. I ripped out all the old elements and tested to see if it would fit on the chassis..it did..kinda. I had to dremel out alot of excess and the functional doors had to lose their..functionality. In the process I ripped a hole in the hood (Whoops.) I plan on covering that up..somehow. Anyway..I start to spraypaint the thing (Gloss black) and all my paint just spooges out in a very liquidy state..I uttered some swear words and knew that now I had a sticky black splattered car..sooo..lacking paint thinner..my buddy and I took the old propane torch to it to melt away the paint..but we knocked yet another hole into it..this time in the roof. (Whoops!), its small though, so I was thinking I can T-Top it. It seems to be plagued with bad luck so far, and with such a good start..I'm sure I'll get it done eventually..once I get all the bugs worked out and find a way to stick it on the chassis, it oughta be kinda cool..Whenever my Webcam is back in my posession, I'll show it off when its done.
