I just got a great Xmod idea...
For those of us that worry about scratching the body when racing, and can't afford to buy multiple Xmods (BC you don't have to read on), I just thought of a possible solution. I don't have any on hand, so I can't try it myself, but I think a few coats of rubber cement on the bumpers and hazard-prone areas of the Xmod might keep it from getting scratched while you drive it. After you're done racing, just rub it right off. Tell me whatcha think!

Wow. Nobody has an opinion about this? Has anyone thought of this or tried it before?

amazing...you replied exactly 12 hours since you first posted this lol. BC used small pieces of foam on those hazard prone areas. it's a little less messy and stuff

Hey, I like it! But it might hurt your appearance, and when you take it off, some of the paint might peel off.....

Foam probably works well, but the rubber cement idea allows for it to look normal, not to mention you don't have to mount it -- just smear it on. I'm going to try it if I can get some rubber cement.

A scratched body is a good thing it shows you drive the thing hard.....or just straight into walls...anyway why would you care if it got scratched? I've fliiped mine like 6 times and it's all scratched up and junk

Well by your logic then people with wrecked cars should be proud because they drive so badly they cause accidents!
A pristine body is a good thing because it shows that despite driving your car hard, you are still able to maintain control of it. Not to mention I just like to keep my belongings looking nice.

On my Bit's I used clear boxing tape. It works well and it's see through so you can leave it on. I haven't tried it on my x-mods and mini-z's but I am sure it would work. I roll my cars more than anything so I would probably have alot of tape on my cars.
