@DanielS
This looks pretty good. Could you post a pic from the opposite side.
What is the maximum bend angle of the graupner u-joints? Can they handle movements in the length?

diets - refuses to buy them till now, because of the high price

Hi

So I made a picture of my drivetrainlayout - my biggest issue with this is length - but I think i can get rid of an additional 25mm than it will be fine

I can't tell you yet what is the maximum usable bend - and they only can flex limited in length due to ther plastic nature

and best of all in my hobby shop I got a set with 2mm to 3,2mm so a perfect fit for my layout for 4,30€

Wow..! That was really good articulation. Can you tell me about universal joint for the motor to front and rear diff? What U-join u use? Is that main diff came from Mini Z?
Thank you.

Hi Helldriver
These are two different car's.

The pictures posted by DanielS show his car with the Mini-Z diff and the graupner u-joints. I don't know how much articulation is possible.

The pictures with the large articulation are from my car. The drive train is made with modified Mini-X parts. I will post some more pictures with details, if you like.

diets - hopes the body will arrive soon

twin motor mount

Maybe you didn't found the motor, because there are actually two of them

Gearbox ratio
worm gear 1:20
middle diff 8 : 35
axes diff 8:35
overall ratio 1:382,5

This is really slow and a huge amount of torque, perfect for crawling

I have a different setup for cruising and jumping, as well. I will post pic's, when i'll have changed the setup.

diets - you should always have more the one setup
