jerm781 - i bought the muscle machine too

use a muscle machine import tuner car thats what I did. these cars are hotwheels size so the muffler is perfect. Just $2.50 at my walmart

i got the 00 nissan skyline car - for the exhaust mod - i think the cars fatty though - if we could get the microsizer in the muscle machine body (wouldnt work i know) that would be soo fatty - my question is did you notice that the wheels are a really good fit on the micro? i took mine apart completely and pulled the rear axle on my micro and replaced it with the one on the muscle car - it loooks SOOOOOO FATTTY on there - ive got like white replica wheels - they are my favorite rice wheels (as they are made of the lightest material) - also these wheels are wider and have a sim brake disk inside - what are my chances of making these fit on my micro?

well i got the import tuner wheels to fit my bits rear axle, but they are not true and one side sticks out - looks like i have to grind the gear down (to where its just a gear, if you look there is a extra 1 mm or so of non gear space) to get them to fit inside the body - the holes are much smaller than the bits axle so i heated up the axle slightly with a lighter and they slid on - im waiting till i get another car and put the fronts on - btw there is no traction with this setup - if i get the fronts on it will be a decent drifting car i believe - it only slides in high speed turns or if i turn while accel - looks AWESOME thou - you can see tiny brakes - they have nice looking tread, just not sticky - very slippery on slick surfaces (alot like the stock tires, but a little more slippery) - works ok though - gear noise has gone up considerably, i think i messed up the gear

Put some baby powder on your gears or some dry lube.. That should make em more quiet.

Talking OH HELL YEA!

ATTENTION EVERYONE! i know it's been done before and peoples been talking about it...

"What is the best way I can get a PHAT looking muffler for my bit without spending over 4bucks and without a lot of work?!?"

here is the answer...

go to your local Target/walmart/kmart/etc...

and find the "Import Tuner" cars... buy the WRX STI (its has the biggest and best looking exhaust) for about 2.99? around that price, i got mines for about 2.00 (i had friends that work there that gave me a lil discount). Take the muffler off the wrx, put the car on your desk and admire the great artwork.. it really is, then cut a lil bit of the bumper off with an exacto knife from your bit and fit the muffler on... ta da! PERFECT tuner muffler... it looks great!

use super glue to make the muffler stay...

not to flame but thats what we are talkin about - the muscle machines import tuner - i got a 00 skyline and im getting ready to glue it on to something - i took the wheels off and got them to fit my rear axle but they arent true so its not going to be my racer, probably be my basher car (drift car)

payaso

as for baby powder that wont work - i think i damaged the gear getting the import tuner wheels on - it looks melty at the tips - its all good thou - got more parts on the way

but thanks anyway i am a newbie but i read about these for a few days b4 i bought one (they do look like a stupid toy, but from my readings i wanted one)

if u go to MJDesigns or a craft store...
go to the model section
there are these long metal tubings, that come in different diameters and shapes..and they are only 25cents each....[alot cheaper than buying a 3.00 car to use one piece of plastic]
and u can make at least 100 muffler tips out of just one rod
they also have the rectangluar ones ...which would look like those on aftermarket Camaro and Corvette cars

u might need a pipe cutter for a smoother cut..
but i just used some pliers and twisted it around till a piece came off
*edit...and then if you bought 2 of the right sizes, you could actually make a muffler and a tip by inserting one into the other
you could then drill a hole near the end of the muffler and mount it on the rear of your Bit with a small skrew
worked for me...and i didnt have to bother painting it haha...
it doesnt give a chrome shine though...more like a stainless steel type metal
