I'm pretty new and this is only my 3rd post, so I hope I don't sound too stupid here..

I currently own a knockoff zip zap, it's a Muscle Machines '02 Acura RSX, I didn't want to invest a ton into a real ZipZap just to screw it up modding it, so this is a practice car. I find it's a lot faster than my friend's ZipZap but his is pretty old, he got it when they first came out.

I noticed the speed seems like it doubles without the body, aside from running without the body, would taking a Dremel tool and shaving some weight help out enough to justify the time and risk?
