Painted Skyline with Roof Scoop

Heres my Skyline, I used Tamiya's Mica Blue (TS-50) and Gloss Aluminum (TS-17) then clear coated. The windows turned out horrible because I tried to hand paint them with some crappy paint I found around the house, so i will be re-painting them when I feel like painting something again. The rims were painted with the same stuff on the body to match the color scheme. And the question most people are gonna ask is "How did you make that roof scoop." Well that was the easy part, painting was easily 10 times harder. But what i did was buy a couple sheets of styrene/stylene (cant remember but it was something like that)plastic, cut it a little wider than a 9v battery, heat it up with a lighter and bend the edges over the 9v. When i got the bends right i heated up the rear and shaped it to fit the bend of the roof. Then is was as simple as super glue it on. I did buy some contour puddy to make the edges smoother but after letting it dry i tried to sand it and it just crumbled and fell off.

Nice I like the silver too. The rims are cool. Two of them are blue the other 2 are silver. Very original. Nice work.

I made the scoop myself, i bought the plastic from a hobby store, it was 2.50 for 2 sheets about 8x12 inches, then just super glued it on.

Why did you paint the windows black when they're already black?
